About

Hey! My name is Charlene Joy Dela Cruz.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area for the majority of my life, but also spent my early years in the Philippines. From a young age, I grew accustomed to maintaining long distance relationships with friends and family. Experiencing the digital advances that change the way we interact with each other drives my curiosity in our relationship with technology and the internet, which then inspires how I design.

As I cycle through analyzing problems and experimenting with different solutions, my commitment to inclusivity and accessibility is always a priority. As a UX designer, I aim to be at the intersection of information technology, education, and emotional storytelling.
